This G+1 Motor City Day Surgery Center facilities were arranged around a central sky lit atrium, creating an intuitive flow for visitors to circulate through and navigate easily. The medical program includes 18 outpatient clinics, 2 operation theatres and 8 patient beds. This central atrium provides natural light to the first floor patient corridor, with a frosted glass for privacy purposes.

A translucent skin on the main road façade and GRC cladding facing the residential area, the day care surgery center façade wraps around its components to create a singular entity. Careful emphasis was placed on materials selection, with a subtle game of yin and yang, white oak and frosted glass to create an atmosphere of calm serenity and healing.
