“Lima” wraps around a central oasis that allows all internal spaces to overlook its verdure. During its early design stages, the “L” shaped massing has been designed with the intention of creating a sanctuary from Dubai’s desert sun by casting a shadow over the garden.

Not only does this activate its external spaces, but allows us to take full advantage of the shaded façade and maximize the amount of natural light without compromising on solar thermal gain.
